As she was growing up, she only knew one thing – everything and everyone around her is full of goodness. It was almost like she was blind to all things which were not so good. Some would say she was ignorant, didn’t understand the world, the people. But I would disagree. Her heart was too pure, and hence if someone would even hurt her, or say anything demeaning, she would still try to find a positive reason behind it. And this good heart of hers, made her trust everyone, she could never differentiate the real & the fake, silly really, everyone was real to her.
It was her nature to trust people, to let them in her life without any filters or doubts – as she only knew one thing, they are all good people. If someone would ask for help, she didn’t have the capacity to say no, that word didnt exist for her. Some people called her too needy and attention seeker, as she always smiled and tried to make people happy, but that’s who she was. She would never doubt anyone’s intentions, she would take them for their word and that’s the trust she had
Just like the sea, which is so vast, deep & powerful, yet it allows the ships to cut through it, storms to disturb it, people to take from it; she is a woman who is strong, feels deeply for others, gives freely without questioning and doesn’t keep boundaries with her emotions.
She, trusts, she breaks, she trusts again and breaks again… thinks she will learn and look at things practically, but she falls prey to her nature again. Her childhood, adolescence and adulthood – all throughout, she has known that her trusting nature has hurt her, has broken her to pieces at times, made her pain insufferable, but she goes back to being the same person again – the sweet, the nice, the gentle, the loving woman.
I believe she has now decided to remain the same person; she has made her peace with the fact that trusts & heartbreaks are going to be a part of her life forever :). Yes, She will forever remain The Sea that trusted too easily!
